How quickly can you start an audit engagement?
For a new client, we typically need six to eight weeks of planning before fieldwork starts — sooner for organizations with a prior audit we can review, longer if we're building a Single Audit scope from scratch.
Do you work with companies outside New York?
Yes. We're licensed in 14 states and regularly serve clients remotely; roughly half our audit clients are outside our home state.
What's your minimum engagement size for wealth management?
$2M investable assets, because real planning work takes the same number of hours regardless of account size — we'd rather do it thoroughly for fewer households.
Can you take over from our current auditor mid-year?
Usually, though a change of auditor mid-fiscal-year requires coordination with the outgoing firm and, for some regulated entities, prior notice to a regulator or board. We'll tell you honestly if timing doesn't work.
